The AAG arranges several social events a year and one part of this are different dances.
Prom
For several years it is a tradition to give a prom every year, mostly in June, in order to celebrate the “Abitur” (A-levels). For the “Abitur” the students choose a motto which is also the motto for the prom; e.g. last year “Abigypten” caused the students to bring a camel for the photo shooting in front of the venue. The prom is a big event, all school-leavers with the “Abitur”, their parents and teachers come to it in evening dress. Also reporters of local newspapers are among the guests of the prom and publish an article about it the next days.

Spring ball
Way newer then the proms is the idea of making a spring ball. There have been two of them one in April 2009 and one in April 2010; both have been organized by pupils of the AAG. Besides dancing and music there have been several interesting show acts. Therefore over 500 men had a good time.

200-year ball
The 200-year ball is an event coming up on the 11th of September 2010 and is the ending of the festival to celebrate the 200 year existence of our school.
